The only remainder of the Bab Al-Qarrafa gate structure is a vaulted passage that opens at the wall level. The opening of the present gate does not include any towers.
The width of the Bab Al-Qarrafa passage is 4.5 meters. The passage is covered by an oblong pointed vault, in which the remains of two spherical triangles are scattered. A pointed arch with a beveled front crowns the facade of the interior. |
