The statuette depicts a theater actor molded in terra-cotta. The actor is bald with grotesque features.

He wears a tunic that bares his right shoulder and a mantle with decorated frame. He stands with his legs apart, holding up a feminine mask with closed lips, also known as a pantomime mask, in his left hand.

His neck is decorated with a necklace. In the Greco-Roman period there were troupes touring the country playing pieces of drama, music, mime, and dance.

The statuette, which shows an actor in caricature, underlines the popularity of the mime.
