This unglazed pottery filter of a water jug is decorated with the painting of a peacock spreading his tail feathers in a semicircle. The tail feathers are beautifully arranged and adorned with circles. From his beak hangs a floral branch decorated similarly to the pattern of the tail.

The painting is encircled by fine piercing ornaments. This piece indicates the skillfulness of the Muslim artist and how he could decorate such a marvelous picture of a peacock on such a small surface.
