The manuscript is a Kiahkan Psalmody Book in the Coptic language, which is a book including psalms and other prayers related to "Kiahk," the fourth month of the Coptic year.

Because the month of Kiahk is dedicated to events before the birth of Christ, the book contains praises for the Virgin Mary and some of the saints. The headings are written in red ink.
