Brass candlestick, coated with gold, the Minister Soliman Basha Al-Khadim endowed this brass candlestick, coated with gold, to the Citadel Mosque of Sariat Al-Gabel.

This candlestick consists of an incomplete cone-shaped body, the higher and the lower parts of which are surrounded by two prominent circles. The body also includes an engraved monogram, which reads, "Its owner is Soliman Basha." The monogram cannot be seen on the remaining parts of the body.

The body has on top a cylindrical pillar that includes a bulge, which is topped by an ornamental circle. The pillar is topped by a cone-shaped hanger.

The upper round surface includes this engraved calligraphy of the Qur'anic verse, which reads "Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth, the parable of his light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp, etc." Surah Al-Nur, verse 35.

It is dated on the First of Gamada Al'ola in AH 947 (Second of September AD 1540).
