A gold dish of the Queen Hetepheres, that was found among her burial treasury. The queen possessed wonderful silver bracelets and anklets, a collection of golden vessels and cosmetic articles. This gold dish, which was shaped by hammering and then polished, was among the artifacts found in her tomb.

The original burial of Queen Hetepheres, wife of King Senefru, the founder of the Fourth Dynasty, was at Dahshur near the northern pyramid of her husband. It seems that this tomb was partly robbed and, thus, the funeral equipment was transferred to Giza, to be reburied near the pyramid of her son King Khufu.
