The statue portrays Rahotep seated on a low-backed chair with his hands outstretched on his knees. He wears a short kilt and a collar around his neck.
The text that is carved in sunk-relief on the left side of the chair gives his name and his title "King's Scribe."
The statue is an example of rough workmanship but it is well preserved. |
