Wood was necessary to make various utensils needed for daily life, even kitchen tools.

This instrument is a kind of twister or scraper. It is composed of a wooden stick, square at one end and rounded at the other.

At the square end, small wooden blades are attached to cut the food into small pieces when the utensil is turned.
