This portrait painted on wood, shows a young girl wearing a golden garland in the form of a branch that encircles her head. A gold pendant hangs from a chain round her neck.

Her face has been very precisely painted with a childlike mouth and straight nose. Over her large brown eyes the eyebrows are curved. Her rather frizzy hair is combed back off her face.

As usual with the portraits from this period, her eyes have a sad expression.
