This brass candlestick carries the name of Sultan Qaitbay(Qāitbāy). It is divided into a neck and a cylindrical shaft.
The neck is cylindrical and is decorated in the upper and lower parts with two borders of floral designs that resemble the palm tree.
The middle part contains an inscription border carrying the titles of Sultan Qaitbay(Qāitbāy); it is designed on a floral background.
The lower part of the neck is cylindrical and is framed by two floral borders.
In the middle of these borders is a third broad border with Naskh (cursive) inscription, with its ends resembling scissors resting on a beautiful floral background.
The shaft of the candlestick is broad and outlined from the upper and lower parts with two borders decorated with raised floral motifs, similar to palm leaves.
